Why volunteer with CASA?

CASA volunteers make a difference in the lives of the children they serve. Being a CASA is impactful, meaningful work.Ā

Children who have a CASA are:

  • More likely to perform better in school
  • More likely to find safe and permanent placement sooner than a child without a CASA volunteer
  • More likely to receive services to address their needs
  • More likely to have a consistent person in their life

Court Appointed Special AdvocatesĀ® (CASA) are community volunteers, just like you, who stand up and speak out to help abused and neglected children.

Our CASA program partners every child in the court system because of instances of abuse or neglect with a personal advocate to serve their best interests.

In 2023, a total of 475 children had substantiated cases of abuse of neglect
